ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The PhD in Data Science program seeks highly qualified applicants with substantial expertise in fields such as artificial intelligence, network science, deep learning, complex systems, or related areas. Eligible candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or other relevant disciplines, with coursework covering multivariate calculus, linear algebra, statistics or probability theory, and computer programming.
- Programming Proficiency: Proficiency in either C++ or Python programming is required.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Academic Transcripts: Include transcripts from both your Master’s and Bachelor’s degree programs.
- TOEFL or IELTS Scores (for international applicants)
- Two Reference Letters: One of these letters should be from an academic source.
- Statement of Interest (1-2 pages):
- Describe your motivation for pursuing the PhD in Data Science program.
- Outline your career goals and relevant experiences.
- Explain what has influenced your interest in Data Science.
